This new discovery may bring the authors another Nobel Prize! The co-authors of this new research had been awarded the Nobel 4 years ago for discovering the space GPS map in the brain. Now, they have found the time marker cells in the brain. It explains why time seems to be longer when we are young or experiencing a lot of new things and files by when we are older. It sheds light on an age-old mystery.
