Our generations may be the last to witness genuine mass protests or revolutions!
Given the effectiveness of people surveillance by current Artificial Intelligence technology, which is only at a very nascent stage, how much personal privacy and freedom will remain in the near future (let alone far future)?
Just imagine, say, China, took over another country, what is the chance for the people of that dominated country to be able to join together to mount a successful revolt? Yes, indeed, it's a very depressing thought!
